Coach Popovich has priceless reaction to primary results during sideline interview

Popovich apparently not happy with New Hampshire primary results

The Spurs started their 2016 Rodeo Road Trip with a win over the Miami Heat Tuesday night and hopefully that uplifted Coach Gregg Popovich’s spirits after his apparent disappointment over the results of the New Hampshire primaries.

At the start of the second quarter, Popovich was interviewed on the sideline by TNT’s David Aldridge and after two basketball-related questions and naturally short Popovich answers, Aldridge asked Popovich if he was interested in knowing the results of Tuesday's primaries.

Popovich returned to hear who won and didn’t look very pleased when Aldridge told him that Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump had won.

Popovich didn’t say a word and offered only a sad head nod before heading back to the Spurs bench.

Was it Trump or Sanders who dismayed the Spurs coach? No one really knows.

Popovich donated $5,000 to President Barack Obama during the 2012 general election, but there is no record of him donating anything so far this year.
