"Everybody is giving back on Tuesday, the first Tuesday in December, right after Cyber Monday. It's a chance for everyone to give to a cause they support," said Cleo Garcia, communication manager at Ella Austin Community Center.

Ella Austin Community Center used social media posts with #GivingTuesday to ask for donations.

Programs support seniors, children and emergency assistance for families in need.

The Texas Cavaliers marked Giving Tuesday by donating to Seton Home to support young mothers and their children.

"They gave what we call the bottom line. We need diapers all the time. We need comforter sets. We need different things for the moms when they're preparing to leave Seton Home and go into their own apartments," said Tiffany Walker, executive director of Seton Home.

"We feel like we're supporting two generations of people here through the Seton Home. The Cavaliers are honored to be here, we're honored to serve San Antonio, but we're really honored to serve the children of San Antonio," said Mark Johnson, King Antonio XCIII.

Anyone can participate in Giving Tuesday through small acts of kindness or donating to a favorite charity.
