An arrest affidavit said on March 23 Mari and two other people broke into a home in the 2800 block of Fred Haise Drive by breaking a rear window.

The men, armed with guns and knives, tied up the three residents inside with zip ties and forced the father to give pin numbers of credit cards and sign over his car loan, the affidavit said.

Mari then took the family's vehicle, a 2001 Land Rover, while the others began taking property from the home. Mari returned with a rental vehicle and the group began filling up the U-Haul, the affidavit said.

The affidvait said the father was eventually able to break free from the zip ties and overpowered one of the suspects before calling police.
