Kerrville man gets federal prison sentence in child porn case

Samuel Eugene Baker, 28, gets 150 months in prison

KERRVILLE, Texas – A Kerrville man was sentenced Thursday to 150 months in federal prison for receipt of child pornography.

The Department of Justice said a search warrant was executed at the residence of Samuel Eugene Baker, 28, on Oct. 22, 2014, where multiple home computers and related media devices were seized.

The DOJ said about 90 videos and 2,700 images depicting child pornography were found during a forensic examination of Baker's belongings.

Baker, who has remained in custody since his arrest following the 2014 search warrant, pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography on March 23.
