SAN ANTONIO – A driver was taken to the hospital after he lost control of his truck, leaving a trail of destruction on the city's North West Side.
The accident happened just before one Saturday morning in the 3400 block of Fredericksburg Road.

According to San Antonio police, the driver lost control and crashed into a fire hydrant and fence taking down three large fence poles.
The driver was trapped in his truck.
Once he was cut out he was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Police are investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
