Donald Trump gives speech in Austin, speaks on immigration, Democratic opponent

Lone protesters attempted to drown out Trump's speech

SAN ANTONIO – Trump hit on several points in his speech Tuesday night, immigration being one of the biggest.

He once again told supporters he would build a wall between Mexico and the United States, if he was elected president. The GOP candidate also brought several mothers on stage during his speech. He said their children were killed by immigrants who were in the country illegally.

"We are with you 100 percent, and your children did not die in vain," Trump said, while speaking to the women.

Trump then turned to another popular subject during his rallies — Hillary Clinton. He brought up the email scandal that has plagued the Democratic candidate since before she formally launched her campaign. He said new information released indicates that there is much more to the email story than what has been made publicly available.

Several lone protesters yelled out during Trump’s speech. The crowd yelled out and chanted Trump’s name. The candidate called them low-energy protesters and continued his speech.

In total, Donald Trump spoke for just under 50 minutes Tuesday night. The rally in Austin wrapped up a two-city tour of the Lone Star State for the GOP presidential candidate.
