SAN ANTONIO – October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is marking the occasion by offering extra help to victims.
BCSO’s Family Violence Unit will be setting up at local Walmarts on two Saturday mornings this month with their local mobile command vehicle and a victim advocate.

Deputies want people to know that even though reporting domestic violence is difficult, it could save lives.
The first event will be held this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Walmart at 4096 North Foster Road. The second will be on Halloween at the Walmart at 11210 Potranco from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
