VIRAL VIDEO: Florence & the Machine sing with Central Texas teen in hospice care

AUSTIN, Texas – The popular England band Florence & the Machine made a stop in Austin as part of its American tour last week.

After performing at the Circuit of the Americas the band paid a special visit to a teen in hospice care.

According to the video on YouTube, the 15-year-old patient at Hospice Austin’s Christopher House had planned to see the band when they performed in Central Texas.

However, her health would not allow her to make the concert.

So the band stopped by and sang a few songs with the young lady.

Surrounded by her family and nurses, lead singer Florence Welch held the teens hand as the two sang “Dog Days Are Over.”
